Sumo Can Robot

Creating a robot that can move objects outside a defined ring and return back to the centre autonomously.

The circuit makes use of logic gates, capacitors, resistors and timer circuits to control left and right motors to change the movement of the sumo can based on the input from two optical sensors.

PCB Design

The circuit schematic was then converted into a PCB layout to prepare it for manufacture. This used tracks on the upper and lower surface to aid track position and routing.
